Jacqui Rosshandler, founder and President of Jacquii LLC, credits her inspiration for Eatwhatever to her husband’s cooking with garlic. “My ex cooked with a lot of garlic,” she laughs, “and I felt like I smelled like it for days. I’d brush my teeth and chew gum but realized that didn’t help as the bad breath was coming from my stomach.”
Jacqui started to wonder why there wasn’t a mint or breath freshener on the market that dealt with odor issues originating in the stomach and not just the mouth. After many hours of research and eating lots of garlic for testing purposes, she developed a vegan formula to combat bad breath in two steps: a gelcap that calms the stomach with natural ingredients such as peppermint and parsley oil and a mint to address bad breath. Along her journey, she met Arthur Shorin, former CEO of The Topps Company (maker of baseball cards, Ring Pops, and Bazooka Bubble Gum) and they joined forces to grow Eatwhatever and spread kissable breath everywhere.
